Well, we’ve checked the weather forecast and it’s set to warm up for June, so what perfect timing to grab one of our last minute offers on Devon holiday cottages. If you fancy a short break amidst the beautiful countryside of the Blackdown Hills come and stay at Stonehayes Farm for less – but be quick because we don’t have much availability left!
Besides the weather getting better (at last!) there are plenty of reasons to take advantage of our last minute offers on Devon holiday cottages; because you can for a start, now that things are gradually returning to something like normal. Because it’s a wonderful part of the world to stay in, especially this time of year when the birds are singing all day long and the hedgerows are so lush and full of wild flowers. Because there’s plenty to do round here and the beach is only half an hour away, and because Stonehayes Farm is such a great place to stay for all ages, with 15 acres of private land for you to explore, and a play area for the little ones.
If you’ve stayed here before you’ll know what we’re all about – happy holidays in our dog friendly and family friendly holiday cottages in Devon, it’s that simple. The cottages here used to be the barns and lofts where animals were kept and hay and apples were stored, but that was back in the day when Stonehayes was a proper working farm. Since then a very sympathetic transformation has taken place to convert the barns to cottages, each one retaining much of the original rustic character and full of country charm. A gentle air seems to always rest over the whole of Stonehayes Farm; the days spent here are carefree, the nights are restful, just the way it should be when you’re on holiday.
So, onto those offers. Like we said, there’s not much availability left so if a last minute break in the country at a great price sounds tempting, get in now. Our smallest cottage, Siskins Nook has a gap in bookings from Monday 7th to Weds 9th June; there’s snooze space for 4 in 2 bedrooms and at £275 that works out at less than £35 per night each!
Pipits Retreat and Wagtail Corner are also free from the 7th to the 9th, at £325; they both sleep 5 so that comes in at just £32.50 per night each at full capacity – if there’s 4 of you it’s only a smidgeon over £40 each, which you have to agree is remarkably good value. You can also stay at Pipits Retreat for 4 nights from Monday 14th June to Friday 18th – for £435, so if there’s 5 of you that’s a mere £21.75 each per night! The same price applies to Wagtail Corner later in the month – a 4 night break from Mon 28th June to Friday 1st July. You must say - that’s incredible! Honestly, where else could you stay that’s this good for so little?
Dippers Rest, which sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, is also available from the 28th June to the 1st July, at a discounted price of £535; in other words, just over £22 per night each! These prices are just too good to miss, especially when you throw in the fact that Stonehayes Farm is easy to get to as we’re just a mile or so off the A30 and not much further than Honiton which is on the London Waterloo to Penzance train line.
Come on down, grab yourself a bargain break and spend a bit of time in the good old West Country, whether it’s a family holiday, a getaway with friends, a walking break or a romantic escape. Our Devon holiday cottages suit all ages and all occasions and you know what? We can’t wait to welcome you. Book now!
