If you’re thinking of taking a break this autumn then you should look at our special offers on Devon holiday cottages at Stonehayes Farm! We’ve got some terrific low season offers – great prices that are too good to miss. We’ve got country cottages big and small, so whether you want a romantic escape for two or a big celebration break for 14 or more, get yourselves comfy, take a good look at our gorgeous holiday houses and book your stay today!

So, say there’s a big group of you, or suppose you’ve got a very significant birthday or anniversary coming up and you fancy taking your nearest and dearest off to celebrate somewhere very lovely; maybe it’s someone else’s birthday and you want to surprise them. Well, Pippinsands will suit you perfectly. It’s a beautiful old thatched farmhouse that sleeps 14 people in 6 bedrooms and has its own hot tub. There’s plenty of space and most of all, a big long dining table so you can all get together to toast that special occasion in style; you could even push the boat out and hire professional caterers to come in and cook for you! Well, you know, you’re worth it! We don’t have much availability on Pippinsands, but it’s free from 11th November for a 4 night midweek stay at the amazing price of just £1,200.00!  What?! But that’s only £85 per person? YES, that’s right – or another way of looking at it is about £21 per night each! You’d be hard pushed to find a youth hostel for those prices, let alone something this sumptuous! Grab it whilst it’s there, book it now!

If there’s up to 11 of you, say a family of a few generations, or a couple of young families, then Whinchat Barns might suit you. Whinchat Barns is actually two holiday cottages right next to each other here at Stonehayes Farm – Dippers Rest and Wagtail Corner, and together they sleep 11 people in 5 bedrooms. We’ve currently got offers on these for the first two weeks of November with prices at £1050 (£95 per person) for a 7 night stay, £700 (£63 per person) for a 3 night weekend, and £600 (£54 per person).for a 2 night weekend or a 4 night midweek stay. Bargains, or what? That’s terrifically good value!

On their own, Dippers Rest has snooze space for 6 in 3 bedrooms and we’ve priced November breaks at £600 (£100 each) for 7 nights, £400 (£67 each) for a 3 night weekend, and £350 (£58 each) for a 2 night weekend or a 4 night midweek stay. Wagtail Corner sleeps 5 and on this one we’re able to offer November stays for £450 (£90 pp) for 7 nights, £300 (£60 pp) for a 3 night weekend, and £250 (£50 pp) for a 2 night weekend or a 4 night midweek break. What a bargain! We’re holding those same prices on Pipits Retreat, another one of our holiday cottages in Devon that sleeps 5. It’s like Sale of the Century with these special offers on our Devon holiday cottages!

Now then; cosy country retreats. Ooh, such a lovely thought, especially this time of year, when it’s getting chilly in the evenings and the nights are drawing in. Imagine being curled up in front of the wood-burner, winter jumpers on, big thick socks… It’s a lovely thought whether you want a romantic break or even if you’ve got pre-school age children. Make the most of it, and certainly make the most of our low prices on offers for Siskins Nook, our cosy country cottage for 4. We’ve got availability for early November at fantastic rates - £400 (£100 pp) for a week long stay, £265 (£66 pp) for a 3 night weekend, and £215 (£54 pp) for 2 night weekend or a 4 night midweek break. No way! That’s incredible!

How tempting is that? From experience we know that at prices like this our Devon holiday cottages soon get snapped up, even if it is November. The thing is that here at Stonehayes Farm it doesn’t really matter too much what the weather is doing; our cottages have user friendly wood-burning stoves, with logs supplied, so you’ll be warm and toasty, and we have a shared games room with pool, table tennis and table football, and it gets quite sociable in there at times, which is nice.

If the sun does decide to pop his head out, woo hoo! Then maybe you’ll want to venture forth into the East Devon countryside or over to the Jurassic Coast, which won’t take you long at all. You could whizz down to Exeter, see the cathedral, scale the walls at Clip N Climb, shop till you drop, have a bite to eat, maybe even go to the races or watch Exeter Chiefs play. There are beautiful National Trust houses nearby, with glorious parkland and activities for kids, and there’s no shortage of seriously good places to eat round these parts – like The Pig at Combe, River Cottage, and one of our favourites, The Holt in Honiton.

Who needs an excuse? When prices are this low you don’t need to justify the cost – think about it; you’d probably spend a lot more on just one night out, so when you think, you could have a whole week away for that, well, it makes sense to snap up one of our special offers on Devon holiday cottages – before someone else beats you to it! Don’t dally, book today!
