Happy Christmas From Stonehayes Farm

Well, here we are all you lovely people… Christmas is here and though it may be very different this year we’d like to wish you all a Happy Christmas and a brighter New Year from Stonehayes Farm. Wherever you are, whoever you’re with, we hope you have a peaceful time; put your feet up, be gentle with yourself, keep strong.

It’s been the strangest of years, one that we’ll hopefully never have to see the like of again. Back in March we were thrown into the first lockdown and it was nice to have some of you joining us on our Lockdown Lookabout – we liked that, showing you some of the lovely places near to our Devon holiday cottages. Then we were allowed to open again and it was so good to welcome guests here, to see happy smiley faces, families having fun and enjoying the sunshine (didn’t we have some wonderful weather!).

And then into Autumn and another lockdown, but then a glimmer of hope – Christmas and the prospect of being able to meet as three households for a few days. And then – oh no! That’s scrapped and now we can only meet for Christmas Day, as long as none of us live in a Tier 4 area 😢  So now we’re back to the Rule of 6 which means for now, you can only have a holiday with your family or support bubble. It’s been confusing to say the least and due to cancellations we have a little late availability with great savings, so if you fancy getting away and making the most of it, it’s not too late.

These dark days of winter are good times to plan ahead, to half term holidays, Easter breaks and fun in the sun and we can assure you our Devon holiday cottages are absolutely perfect for any time of year. If you've got something significant to celebrate this year, take a look at Pippinsands; it sleeps 14, has a long bespoke dining table for those very special feasts, and you'll have a private hot tub. Whinchat Barns can sleep up to 11, and of course, there's always the option to book all 5 of our self catering cottages. Have a think, it might be just what you need, when things are some way back to normal.

So for now, our very best wishes for the festive season go out to each and every one of you; all the lovely people we’ve met this year and in previous years, those of you who have holidays booked for 2021 and those of you who are thinking of coming to Stonehayes Farm for a holiday or short break in one of our gorgeous Devon holiday cottages. Seasons Greetings. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.
