Honiton Wine Bar is a family run restaurant on the high street in Honiton and we have to say, it’s such a friendly place! The building is Grade II listed so it has its original quirks which seem to add to the relaxed ambience – that and the attentive service from smiley happy staff.
The food is good, the menu a seasonal one using lots of local produce; there’s a daily specials board, and a menu of tempting platters (fish, charcuterie, vegetable and a local cheese board), tapas (Calamari, Whitebait, Patatas Bravas) and dishes from the griddle (lamp rump, steaks and burgers). They work closely with local wine merchants (including the one right next door) and breweries, so all good, all keeping it real.
