If you’ve ever wanted to get behind the wheel of some of the biggest earth moving machines you can think of, here’s your chance. Diggerland Devon, just a few miles from Cullompton is for all ages so it’s great fun for families, friends and corporate groups. You can book up for Adult Experience Days, with Dumper Racing and JCB Experiences an option; take control of these mammoth machines, get driving, digging, excavating and dumping.
Your entry ticket includes the 20 main rides and Mini Tractors; have your camera at the ready if you opt for Skyshuttle because you’ll be hoisted 50ft up in the air and the views over the Diggerland Devon park and the surrounding countryside are phenomenal. Get strapped into the huge digger bucket on Spindizzy, and prepare to be taken up into the sky and spun round (just make sure you haven’t had a big breakfast). If you want to, there are other things to try, like Dodgems and Quad Bikes, so there’s no shortage of fun. Younger folk will be hollering with delight in the Little Tykes Play Zone and the indoor soft play area.
There’s an onsite café that sells wraps, rolls, burgers and kids’ meals, or you can pack your sarnies, boiled eggs and sausage rolls and find a table in the picnic area. Then all that remains is to pop into the gift shop to buy a little keepsake of your visit. Enormous fun all round.
