Forget the supermarket when you’re on your holiday in Devon, get yourselves down to Greendale Farm Shop – and take a big basket because you won’t be able to resist the temptation to pile it high with all manner of local delights. Fruit and veg, meat, fish, cheese, bread, pastries, jams, chutneys, fudge, drinks, even soaps and candles, all top quality made, grown or raised within a 30 mile radius. Now that’s what you call keeping it local, keeping it real, just the way it should be. In fact meat is from Greendale’s own farmland, fish from their own boats caught in the waters of the beautiful Jurassic Coast.
You’ll probably want to stop at the café whilst you’re there, and who can blame you? It’s open from 8 in the morning till 6 on Mondays, 8-10 Tuesday to Saturday and 9-6 on Sundays. Go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, sit indoors or outdoors and tuck into the scrumptious fare they sell in the shop. If you’re in a bit of a rush, order fish & chips cooked to their own special recipe to take away.
Greendale Farm Shop also offer a delivery service which is free if you spend over £50.
