Langmoor and Lister Gardens, Lyme Regis, Dorset
Langmoor and Lister Gardens are attractive municipal gardens that were redesigned as part of a major stabilisation programme undertaken at Lyme Regis in 2007. The gardens are built into the hillside overlooking the sea front; stroll up through from the promenade, stop and admire the views out over Lyme Bay, then head back down the hill through the town.
Winding paths take you in and out of woodlands and more formal areas at Langmoor and Lister Gardens, all thought out to encourage wildlife so you’ll notice bird boxes, bat boxes and bug hotels. In the summer you can play outdoor table tennis and crazy golf, which is a great thing for families to do.
