Right on the seafront, hearty pub food, local ales and a great selection of fresh fish and seafood; to boot, a prime position right on the seafront overlooking the River Exe. It doesn’t get much better than that., so if you’re spending a day in Exmouth when you’re on holiday in Devon, here’s where to go for lunch.
The main menu has all the pub favourites including their very own beefburger, 8oz rump steak, Beef, ale and leek shortcrust pie, Smoked ham, fried eggs, piccalilli and triple cooked chips and of course, Beer battered, triple cooked chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce. If you want something lighter there’s a choice of sandwiches – Beetroot & orange hummus with vegan feta, Cumberland sausage and red onion chutney, and Smoked ham, mature cheddar, piccalilli and lettuce. Go on a Sunday and you can tuck into a humdinger of a roast. The perfect seaside pub.
