The Hideaway, Seaton, Devon
Stroll out to the end of the beach at Seaton and there tucked between the cliffs is The Hideaway. And what a find; great ethics (they’re plastic free), scrummy food, attentive service, and to boot, the sea view. Ingredients are locally sourced of course, and organic and sustainable; they like to think that no one is left out so there are options on the menu for vegetarians, vegans, the gluten free and the little folk.
You can have breakfast at The Hideaway up until 11.30am, so how’s about that – a morning swim and then a bacon sarnie or eggs on toast? If you get there a bit later you can tuck into something awesome for lunch – Crispy squid perhaps, Vegan Jackfruit burger, Gurnard goujons, or Spicy sausage roll. If you have a sweet tooth to satisfy round it off with the likes of Blackberry and apple crumble or a Warm chocolate brownie. It’s a great place to hang out – all light and airy with local art on the walls, live music in the summer, feast nights featuring world cuisine, and even pop up dance nights. Get in the groove.
