If you’ve got younger children on board when you’re staying at one of our family friendly holiday cottages in Devon, take them to World of Country Life near Exmouth for a day out – they’ll love it. Have a pootle round the grounds on the Deer Train Safari, watch a bird of prey flying display, feed the dinky little lambs and the calves, have a bit of fun goat walking.
If the weather’s not on your side, fret ye not because they’re well prepared for rainy days at World of Country Life. Indoors under cover there’s a Pet Centre and Animal Nursery, the Barnyard Theatre, Raceway Electric Cars, a fascinating Exhibition Hall, and soft play areas. Plenty to entertain and amuse!
Make a day of it, pack a feast of a picnic to enjoy at your leisure, or tuck into tasty local food in Farmer Lee’s Food Barn. If food on the hoof is more your thing, grab something from the Tractor Takeaway or the Pasty Shack.
