Boat Shed Café, Lulworth, Wareham, Dorset
Ah, to sit out on the deck of The Boat Shed Café and sip a coffee, looking out over Lulworth Cove where everything is beautiful. You have to appreciate how lucky you are.
Lots of people visit Lulworth Cove when they’re on their large group holidays in the UK, in the summer it gets very busy, but you should still go if you can, because this is such a unique place. The Boat Shed Café used to be a lockup that the local fishermen used, so naturally, it has a nautically inspired theme.
They serve breakfasts, light lunches daily specials, homemade cakes, cream teas and drinks, so go and tuck into the likes of Seafood chowder, Boat Shed chicken burger, Fish & chips, or a Crab sandwich. What’s good is to make an early start – have breakfast – maybe a Full English, Eggs Benedict or a bacon or sausage ciabatta, then tighten your laces and head off for a hike over the South West Cliff Path; bracing sea air, glorious coastal views. If only life was always that simple.
