BBQ: 2 charcoal BBQs for use Easter - end of October. You will need to bring your own charcoal.
Bed Linen and Towels: Duvets and pillows (synthetic fibres), bed linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own towels and suitable footwear (such as flip-flops) for use with the hot tub.
Booking: Booking is easy via our website. Go to the Prices & Availability page, select your chosen dates and follow the instructions from there.
CCTV: 24 hour CCTV covers the car parking area at Stonehayes Farm, the central courtyard and the back field.
Check In Details: This information can be found in your booking information 4 weeks before your stay.
Coffee Machine: Each cottage has a cafetiere and a Nespresso Citiz coffee machine (pods not supplied).
Cots: 2 travel cots can be provided on request at no extra charge. These are for infants aged 2 years and under.
Departure: Please see When You Leave Your Holiday Cottage.
Deposit: A booking deposit must be paid at the time of booking. The balance of your payment will be requested by email 12 weeks before the start date of your holiday, or sooner if the start date is less than 12 weeks away at the time of booking.
A cautionary/damage deposit will be requested by email about 3 weeks before your holiday, or at the time of booking if the start of your holiday is less than 3 weeks away.
Directions: You will find directions in your booking information after you have secured your holiday.
Dogs: 2 dogs welcome (1 per cottage) at a small charge per pet. Dogs must be added to your booking and we ask that you read and agree to our Dog Rules before planning to bring your pet.
Electric Vehicle Charging: There are no EV charging points at Stonehayes Farm. Due to insurance restrictions guests cannot use outdoor plugs or cables from the house to charge vehicles. Please use this Zap Map to find local charging points.
Essentials: Enough crockery, cutlery and glasses for your whole party, at least 2 toilet rolls per toilet, salt and pepper, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, dish cloth, scourer sponge, oven gloves, bin bags, hand soap, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Seasonal Welcome Pack (typically locally sourced drink, a homemade cake and fresh flowers, though this can vary).
Extras: Our Extras page lists suppliers such as private caterers and florists. You’ll need to contact them direct and once you’ve made arrangements, let us know who you’ve booked, when they’re coming, and how many of them there will be –this is necessary for insurance purposes.
Features: Hot tub (Dippers Rest), private gardens (unfenced), use of games room, access to 15 acres of private grounds.
Food Deliveries: The following supermarkets will deliver to this property: Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose. Local food can be delivered by Dart Fresh and Riverford Organics. Please arrange deliveries for after your 4pm arrival and ensure your name and mobile number are on the delivery information.
Games Room: This is shared with all properties at Stonehayes Farm and has a pool table, table tennis and table football, as well as a selection of games and toys for younger children.
Garden: Each cottage has a private garden (unfenced) with outdoor furniture; Dippers Rest has a hot tub. All properties at Stonehayes Farm have access to the 15 acre private grounds with a children’s play area, riverside walks and a shared barbecue area.
Guests: This property sleeps11 guests in 5 bedrooms over 2 adjoining cottages (Dippers Rest and Wagtail Corner). For more details please see the Floor Plans.
Highchairs: 2 available on request at no extra charge.
Hot Tub: This is in the garden at Dippers Rest and can be used year round.
Kitchen/Utility:
Wagtail Corner: Electric oven/4 ring hob, fridge with ice box, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/tumble dryer. If your whole group wish to dine together, a dining table to seat 11 can be set up for your arrival - this should be requested after you have made your booking.
Dippers Rest: Electric oven/4 ring hob, upright fridge-freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/tumble dryer.
Music: Portable speakers to connect to your phone.
Parking: Off road parking for up to 5 vehicles.
Rooms:
Wagtail Corner: 2 bedrooms (1 ensuite), bathroom, WC, open plan kitchen/dining room/living room.
Dippers Rest: 3 bedrooms (1 ensuite), shower room, WC, open plan kitchen/dining room, living room.
Room Configurations:
Wagtail Corner: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, Bedrooms 2 can have a super king and a single, or 3 singles.
Dippers Rest: Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, Bedrooms 2 and 3 can both have a super king or twin beds.
Stairgates: These are available on request for the top and bottom of the stairs at both cottages.

TVs: Smart TVs in both living rooms.
Wifi: Broadband. This is the best it can be, but note that Stonehayes Farm is in a very rural location and wifi speeds can therefore be slower than you might be used to. We advise downloading any films, games, etc before your stay to avoid disappointment.
Wood-burner: There is a wood-burning stove in both living rooms for use Nov-Apr. Logs are supplied.
Restrictions: No smoking - no fireworks, sky lanterns or drones - no noise after 11pm – single sex groups must contact us before booking
