The White Hart Inn, Colyford, Colyton, Devon
The White Hart is on the main road in the little village of Colyford, not far from the beaches of the Jurassic Coast; in fact, Seaton Tramway stops more or less outside, so if it’s a nice day you can clamber off and come for lunch in the garden by the River Coly.
Inside, the pub is very traditional. There are no pretensions, it’s what it is - a warm and welcoming country pub that serves home cooked food and a decent Sunday roast. It’s a good one to remember for when you’ve been for a walk in the fields across the road; in the winter, you can come and hunker down by the fire with a pint of the local brew.
They host regular Open Mic Nights, Summer Barbecues and Live Music; go and join in, clap your hands and sing along.
