Weston, Sidmouth, Devon
Weston is a tiny hamlet between Branscombe and Sidmouth in Devon; it’s a lovely part of the world, this part of the Jurassic Coast, hence there are quite a few holiday cottages and a campsite among this little cluster of houses, but the reason most people come to Weston is to visit The Donkey Sanctuary, home to almost 300 donkeys and mules.
From Weston there is access to the secluded beach at Weston Mouth and onto the South West Coast Path where you can hike over the cliffs to Sidmouth or to Branscombe where The Fountain Head is a good stopping point for refreshments.
