You’re right in the Blackdown Hills here so there’s ample opportunity for walkies; go up to Luppitt Common, over to Hembury Fort, or to Culm Beacon; find a welcoming country pub to stop off at for a pint of local ale or cider; almost all of them are dog friendly round these parts and you’ll usually find a jar of treats on the bar. Climb to the top of Dumpdon Hill just up the lane from Stonehayes Farm, and sit for a moment with your faithful friend to take in the glorious vista spread out before you; miles and miles of spectacular countryside, going on and on and on to meet the sky.

The coast is only a short drive away so grab the lead and head over to Sidmouth, Exmouth, Axmouth or Lyme Regis where you’ll find dog friendly beaches for a stroll along the shore.
