10/10 We loved the house and the views and surroundings and our daughter absolutely loved the play area and walk down to the river. We had two amazing days out in Lyme Regis and Sidmouth both following the advice of the owners. Mooney Aug 2023
8/10 We have stayed at Stonehayes 4 times now and would stay again. Always very welcoming on arrival and Wagtail Corner (the one we always stay in) is really well kept and clean. Lyme Regis, Pecorama, Seaton Tramway, Knightshayes, walking in the countryside around Stonehayes, plenty to do! The only reason for giving an 8 and not a 10 is it would be great if Stonehayes could install some EV charging points in the parking area. Hassall April 2023

10/10 Wagtail cottage was lovely, very well presented. Lovely building, clean and comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Great welcome from the owner and really easy to find out way around and settle in. South coast is very easy reach, with a car it's so easy to hop from place to place, beach to beach. Lyme Regis is a good starting point. Phillips Jan 2023

8/10 We really enjoyed the play equipment right by the houses - kicking a football about, the trampoline 😊 Great provision of stair gates, bed guards and coffee making facilities. We also loved the views from the farm!
We loved doing a mix of paid and lower cost days out. With 2 small boys we enjoyed the following:
-- Donkey Sanctuary (dog friendly)
-- Killerton National Trust (but a bit restrictive with a dog)
-- Round robin boat and train on the River Ex from Exmouth to Topsham
-- Charmouth beach for fossil hunting (dog friendly)
-- Exmouth beach for sand castles (dog friendly bits)
-- Country Life Park (not dog friendly) and would recommend the deer train as you get to feed the deer and goats

10/10 We absolutely loved staying at Stonehayes and spent a lot of time in the grounds making use of the swings and trampoline, as well as walking across the field to the river. It was such a relaxing and peaceful place to be and we are so grateful for all the effort you put into making it such a beautiful place to come and stay. Thank you!
The cottage was extremely clean and tidy and obviously well cared for. We had a brilliant time exploring the local area and had a great time exploring Sidmouth on a very windy day! The waves were incredible! Smart March 2022

World of Country Life for young children. Lyme Regis for a sandy beach. Sidmouth and Beer for pretty coastal towns. Branscombe bay for a nice walk to a lovely beech from the village hall. We stayed for a long weekend and loved it. The location was great for things to do in the surrounding areas, as well as being far enough away from anything to be relaxing. We went with friends but the accommodation available is great for family/kids/friends and all! Adam Sept 2021

10/10 The welcome we had from Philippa was so welcoming. We were made to feel at home straight away. We had been emailing beforehand and Sam was brilliant with responding and helping us with our weekend. We had a lovely little welcome pack with tea, coffee sugar milk and a lovely chocolate cake. The games room is lovely and clean. The hot tub was amazing. Rooms were all well heated and the log burner was lovely to use in the evening. The views were amazing. We would return again - we are thinking of booking the bigger house for next year with more of us if we are able to due to COVID 19 rules. Wagtail Corner was sparklingly clean when we arrived in amazing surroundings. It had everything we needed and more. We had great communication before we arrived and everything that we had asked for the kids was in place which was so useful. The outdoor play area with great views meant the kids were entertained. The inside was also really child friendly. The bbq and outdoor table was lovely to use once the kids had gone to sleep too. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much. Ross Aug 2020

10/10 We enjoyed the full two weeks we stayed with you and have come home feeling like we’ve truly had a wonderful holiday, although not quite as relaxed as there is so much to see and do near the farm. The facilities at the farm are perfect, especially for the children who made some friends whilst playing on the communal trampoline. Perhaps provide a fly swat in the kitchen as there were a number of flies but it’s that time of year, otherwise everything we could have asked for was catered for perfectly, thank you so much again!
