Holiday House For 16 Guests With Games Room and Hot Tub

It’s late June and it’s time for the big reveal, so without further ado – meet Julesbrook, our newly converted holiday house for 16 guests with a games room and hot tub. Off the beaten track in the Blackdown Hills, this is a very special place to stay, surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside. Think big open skies, think birdsong and wholesome fresh air.

So after months of hard graft, we finally got there! The first guests have arrived at this dog friendly holiday house for 16 guests with a games room and hot tub, the sun is shining and we wish them a very happy stay.

Games Room

Julesbrook is just right for big family holidays and celebrations with the people you love most in the world. It’s a place to soothe your soul, to unwind in the country, far, far away from the clamour of life in big towns and cities. No sun-baked concrete, no endless streets full of cars, no sirens blaring or traffic noise – well, maybe a tractor chugging up the lane, but that’s all; instead it’s peace and quiet, the breeze whispering in the treetops and down in the valley, the river tripping merrily along.

We put a lot of thought into this large group holiday house because we wanted it to be unforgettable and we wanted it to be perfect. The 7 bedrooms sleep 16, 2 are on the ground floor for easy access, the rest are upstairs, with 3 staircases giving almost separate sleeping quarters and privacy. 2 of the rooms have an extra single bed and with room for a travel cot as well (we provide 2 of these) they are ideal for families with younger children. 4 of the rooms upstairs have ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms, the rest have their own adjacent facilities, so there won’t be any queueing in the morning.

Dining table at Joulesbrook

Gather together for a scrumptious breakfast in the large kitchen or dining area, put your feet up on the sofas in the living/movie room and plan your day; you might even have time for a game of pool or table tennis after your full English. If you’re staying put for the day and the sun is out, open the floor to ceiling windows and enjoy the indoor-outdoor life; maybe a barbecue on the patio, a soak in the hot tub as cotton wool clouds drift by in speedwell blue skies. The little ones will have heaps of fun in the play area, you can wander down across the fields for a paddle in the river or a waterside picnic; life’s a dream here at Stonehayes Farm, especially this time of year with the hedgerows full of flowers and birds twittering contentedly from all around.

If you want to go out for the day, take a look at our Things To Do page for inspiration. You’ll find cosy country pubs for a leisurely lunch, places to visit, activities, and beaches for days by the sea. Just 30 minutes way is the Jurassic Coast so you could go to a different beach every day. Lyme Regis is a must; it can be busy, but with good reason; budding palaeontologists will love Dinosaurland Fossil Museum or a guide-led fossil hunt, you can get close up to marine life at the little aquarium at the end of the harbour and take a boat trip around the bay.
