10/10 As soon as we walked in and saw the stunning views we knew this was going to be a fabulous place to stay. The barn is fully equipt with everything we needed including 2 high chairs and 2 baby gates for twins. and found it very spacious and comfortable. Fantastic gardens and the hot tub was a bonus too. 10/10 We stayed in Dippers Rest, loved the views and very cosy with the wood burner. There is a great walk down the field over the river follow the road around and up to the Roman Fort. Staying at Stonehayes was great, we had some really great days out. The National Trust property Knightshayes was wonderful, the house was really interesting and the gardens and woodlands are amazing, spent a whole day exploring. The museum in Honiton is a gem, quite small, free and very interesting. Potter April 2022

9/10 The position of Stonehayes Farm is particularly apt - its secluded, quiet with incredible views over an AONB. The river at the bottom of the field is magical. However the coastal options are 30 minutes away which for me is great because we can enjoy the bustle of the sea front and the peace of the countryside. Road connections are good. The care and attention from the owners is obvious - they are lovely accommodating people.

All I can think of is perhaps an oven mitten to open the woodburner door, I guess this may also be a Covid thing too!! 10/10 We had a wonderful time during our stay. My wife and I like to walk and the area was particularly good for this. We have 3 teenage boys who liked using the games room. During the day we would go to the seaside which was only 30 minutes drive away. We liked the fact that there was barbecue facilities available which we used on a couple of occasions.The whole accommodation was presented to a high quality. Indeed there was a small office area in one of the rooms which was used get in contact with the office. The weather fortunately was in our favour, but the only recommendation is to do with the weather and specifically the things to do in the areas should the weather not be in your favour as you would be confined to the building. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The surrounding grass area and field were perfect for our dog to run around. Our boys also enjoyed the trampoline and games room. 10/10 The whole farm was wonderful - the accommodation spacious, modern warm and comfortable, the hospitality packs were really good, the 4 year old loved the trampoline, play area and the games room. It worked so well for an extended family group. There is so much else to see in the area that we will definitely be back!
The booking and check in process was quick and easy - And thank you so much for refunding my deposit so quickly.
Every day was great - even the wet and windy ones. Loved Lulworth Cove, the walk up to the Hill Fort through the bluebell meadow, the trip to Lyme Regis, the bird sanctuary, Branscombe beach and particularly Powderham Castle Williams - April 2019
